England 2006

To get to England this time we traveled from Cleveland to New York, then to Boston and on to Manchester England.

At the time we were in England (July 2006), the British Open was being played at The Royal Liverpool Golf Course. The Royal Liverpool is in Hoylake just a few miles from where we were staying. With the traffic the way it was, it would have been easier and faster to walk 5-6 miles along the beach from Moreton to Hoylake.

As you can see Kayla was feeling much better than the last time she traveled to England. She asked me to take this picture so that everyone at home could see that she is on the wrong side of the car.

After a short rest and scrub up, I went to my kids Nan's house where they were having a barbeque. As you can see, I was extremely happy to be with Michael and my girls.

Note the milkbottle legs, they didn't stay that way for long as England experienced record high temperatures.
