Just got back from Yosemite. My first trip there. Totally awesome. We have Stone Mtn. here but nothing like I saw there. We came from Sacramento on 120 and I drove and only time in my years of driving was I really and I mean really scared driving around those mountains. I could see in my peripheral vision the huge granite and mountain to the right of me going up but never would I look directly out or down. Do you know the name of the 2 mountains we went over coming in there or were those the Sierra Mtns? I was told today the park on an active vault and/or volcano. What info can you share about this? Your pictures were beautiful and just reminded me of the magnitude of this great place.

Hiya Kenny, thought the jokes were great especially the stuff about the cat. Englands had a lot of snow lately seems to be everywhere except here. Been very cold. The weather men keep coming up with new ways to describe the conditions. So far weve had, an arctic blast (Mild wind from the North) an now were havin a cold snap (Bloody freezin) When they said arctic blast' i thought "Oh shit" but it was nothin the cold snap was worse -5 this morning n the papers.
