My reason for starting my journey in this part of the USA was to visit Yellowstone National Park. That part of my journey I had researched and had seen my stay in Jackson Hole purely as a step to get there. I had seen The Grand Teton National Park on the map and knew that I would have to pass through there to reach Yellowstone. I had also read a little about the town of Jackson and the surrounding area but nothing had prepared me for the sheer outstanding beauty of this place.
