Birkenhead is the big town on the opposite side of the river Mersey to Liverpool. With plenty of shops including the Pyramids shopping arcade and market. There is plenty of entertainment with Europa Pools with its water slides and wave pool, a multiplex cinema plenty of night clubs and countless pubs.
