Liverpool is one of the few cities in the world with more than one Cathedral. The Anglican (protestant) Cathedral is the largest Gothic style Cathedral in the world. The organ has almost ten thousand pipes. The huge sandstone building took over 100 years to build and was only completed in 1978. The Catholic Cathedral is very modern in appearance. Built in the 1960's mostly by Irish workers and because of it's shape gained the nickname "Paddy's Wigwam". It has a tower of stained glass and is known as The Cathedral Of Colour.

The following Pictures are taken from the top of the Anglican Cathedral
